- 2 tbsp sesame oil (or olive oil)
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder (or fresh ginger, grated)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
- Green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook the Rice: Cook the wild or white rice according to package instructions.
- Prepare Chicken: In a pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned.
- Make the Sauce: Mix soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, and ginger powder in a bowl. Pour over the chicken and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add Vegetables: Add the frozen mixed vegetables to the pan and cook until tender.
- Assemble: Divide the rice into meal prep containers, top with the chicken and vegetables, and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
