White Bean Hummus

Ingredients:

  • Half of a 14.5-ounce can of white beans (navy, cannellini, great northern), drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup of fresh basil leaves
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of tahini
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • Juice from half of a large lemon

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, combine the drained and rinsed white beans, fresh basil, garlic clove, olive oil, tahini, salt, and the juice from half of a large lemon.
  2. Process the ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency, scraping down the sides as needed.
